This home in Rowington needed every way in to match: the main driveway gates and the side gates around the house, all in one finish, all secure, and all easy for the family to use.

The brief

A traditional look for a period-style property, privacy at the front and sides, and simple, secure access without carrying keys.

The design

We designed swing driveway gates with a panelled lower half and a curved spindle top, finished in a warm grey. Around the house, solid side gates in the same finish close off the paths completely.

Access and security

Visitors use a video intercom with keypad; the family use a keypad on a post at the drive. The side gates have coded locks, so there are no keys to lose, and drop bolts hold the gates firmly closed.

The result

A consistent, secure set of gates around the whole property, in a finish that suits the house and its setting.
